Eastern Ontario Calf Symposium 2023

We are looking forward to a great day of educational presentations about calves.

Dr. David Renaud is a veterinary epidemiologist at the University of Guelph, with a PhD in epidemiology. He will be discussing the factors associated with reducing disease and increasing growth.

Dr. Joao Costa is an associate professor at the University of Vermont and is a renowned expert in dairy calf management. He will be discussing the short- and long-term effects of dairy calf housing, technology use, and nutrition.

The producer panel will feature 4 farms from Eastern Ontario, all with different feeding systems and calf housing set-ups. We look forward to hearing their different perspectives on calf care and management.
