State of the art Research facility

Construction of our state of the art research facility began in 2015 and completed it in January of 2016. With 4 rooms of 80 calves our facility houses 320 calves and raises over 1300 calves per year. Projects at our facility are designed to develop and validate nutritional, nutraceutical, as well as pharmaceutical products used in raising healthy calves. We focus on antimicrobial stewardship by developing products and resources as well as management practices that can assist in a responsible reduction of antimicrobial use. Since 2016 we have conducted many projects internally as well as in collaboration with academic and industry partners.

We conduct scientific investigations on the health and performance of calves fed different milk replacers, textured feeds, feed additives, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products for a wide range of companies and academic institutes.
